This interview was so great, the theory behind "parking lot tests" being irrelevant was eye opening. Bumps come from below the wheel, and the forks arent getting torsional twist from the front of the wheel, its coming from the bottom of the wheel where there is much less leverage on the fork legs. And the tire is always the first point of movement/twist.
