Thank you for the response. I am 5'9" and 170 lbs. so this bike seems like a good "fit." I tested out a 650b Specialized Expert Carbon, I am hoping the Comp Carbon won't feel too terribly different from that. Also tested a Camber Comp 29, nice bike but wasn't convinced to go with 29 inch wheels and I think carbon is worth the investment.

Overall, is this a good bike for someone who is new to full suspension and wanting something that will last for a while? I trail tested some and I like the carbon frame with 650b wheel size. I'm looking for a good value and Specialized is offering these for 20% off right now. Seems like a really good all-around bike, but is there a better way to spend $3,000?
