I've had these for around six months and will agree that they seem to offer a great level of protection, along with staying in place well. I like the use of the straps, as opposed to most other lighter/enduro style kneepads that depend on elastic to stay in place, which eventually wears and no longer works. I've had durability issues, though. The webbing on the back began to tear about a month or two into use and the process has continued until it's basically not there any longer.
