For dropper posts that require the cable head in the post (Gravity Dropper and Thompson), I was able to make this mod using the 8.6mm x 5mm cable clamp in this kit. Universal Throttle Clutch Cable Repair Kit Motorcycle https://www.amazon.com/dp/B009YEYN6A/ref=cm_sw_r_awd_Jh0Mvb9CSQWR9 Just needed to drill a hole in the plastic wheel that moves with the lever to fit the cable clamp then adjust for proper length.
