I love this Idea, If the big name guys like Semenuk, Aggy, Zink and so forth refused to compete without some sort of contract for financial gain then either the show wouldn't go on or it would set a precedent that all riders can do the same.

Awesome train of thought right here! I just disagree on one thing and thats that the sport need corporate backing to progress, i think with today's advancements in technology and social media its not as hard to capture an audience and with that in mind i feel it gives us as riders leverage as to which corporate backing we allow to be involved. The riders will always progress the sport single handedly because there will always be a hunger to push the boundaries of what one can achieve so with that in mind i think its time that the companies...

I know it may seem unreasonable, but why can't pro riders create a contract that represent their needs, much as unions do in our country. Pros may go to rampage to push their own riding limits, however it is also their job. And in that, they should be able to draft a contract that they can take to various contests to fulfill their needs as traveling pro riders. So, they may still have to sign redbull's contract, however not before redbull signs theirs. Then, for example, clauses could be added so that redbull can only profit a certain percentage higher...
