Laguna is an awesome place to ride mtb. Aliso is definitely a good place to learn if you're not used to more technical riding. Most people you see on the 133 are either riding back from descending the other side of the canyon or dropping down the north face of Aliso where you will find the rougher stuff like Telonics, PGs, Direct Dial, etc. Ascending out of the canyon (the 133) most people are either pedaling up willow where there is a paid parking lot at the bottom.
