The RC4 made a pretty noticeable difference from the DHX, mostly with the small bump compliance but also just with general smoothness of the rear suspension. I did notice a while back that one of the sponsored Jamis riders had BOS suspension on his Dakar BAM, I assume that would be a pretty awesome shock as well for this frame.

Thanks for the info, Vics26! Your report on small bump compliance was what I was looking for. I would imagine that the transfer from small bump to big hit feels much smoother as well. The 5.0 feels vague at best in my experience with it.
