hey, thanks for the comment the change I made to 1x had to replace the appropriate FreeHub hub. The old freehub drat model was replaced with a cassette system (novatec). the marlin 5 frame system uses a quick release system for the freehub. I use the novatec D941Sb & D032SA 32H, and still use the spoke, rim and standard standard tires from Marlin 5.
