I apologize for the delays in my posts. The holidays and getting ready for them has been pretty busy at work and at home. I have been pretty fortunate to get out and ride quite a bit. A few days shuttlin’ out on my Transition Blindside recently has been great! I have been testing the bike with and without the floating brake. There will be more to that coming soon!

Earlier this month, I went out to Grand Junction to ride with the Grassroots boys, Linden, Devon Balet, and crew. We built a new big line out in Utah, Colorado thats pretty sweet! Its called ‘Broken Link’ because its not yet done. The line starts by shooting straight down the ride into a wall of a lip. The lip leads to a 40 foot ravine gap that is hipped and then from there the line will lead into another ravine gap.

While we were down there, we hit up a bunch of other lines. I was the second person to hit up the Flying Fu line and James Wilson hit it up too. It was great riding with those boys and seeing them pushing it and them pushing me. Blake stepped up his game and was booting hips both ways and hitting new lines. Micah was sending the Fu for Devon over and over and got some awesome shots along with this really cool wall ride transfer.

Sunday we got out and finished up the lip on ‘Broken Link’ and hit it up. The speed was more than I thought and the first run resulted in a big case and doing in a rim. The lip definitely needs some work prior to us being able to session the line and be able to trick it. However, I didn’t drive 6 hours out to build a new jump only to give up. So I pulled out my Transition Bottlerocket and sent it again. The next two tries went much better. Devon got some rad shots of it.

Devon has quite a few photos that are being sent to a variety of media outlets so hopefully he is able to sell them and get them published, so stay posted! Devon got a great no-foot can shot that I can’t wait to see posted soon.

I had a great time out in GJ and will definitely be heading out ASAP. They have some cold temps and snow, but hopefully I can get out and ride soon with my good friends out in GJ!
