Frame weight 6.2lbs including seatpost, seatclamp & shock. Flexible carbon/aluminium composite chainstays allow vertical compliance with exceptional lateral stiffness. 80mm travel Custom built for the 2008 XTerra triathlon world championships in Maui, Hawaii. Hand machined links with shock recessed into toptube. This allows a waterbottle to be fitted whilst at the same time reducing standover height significantly. At the end of the bike course. Pete taking 1st place and the coveted yellow Hawaiian jersey. Mahalo.

Additional Info This bike was custom built for pro athlete Pete Hawkins to race in the 2008 XTerra triathlon world championships in Maui, Hawaii. It's made of 6082 machine-butted aluminium alloy, heat treated to a T6 state with pultruded carbon seatstays & seat tube and carbon plate chainstays.
