Alden Pate is back on Crestline Bikes for 2026!

Founded in Los Angeles, CA and later moved to Bellingham, WA. Crestline shares its roots in both green forests and iconic DH tracks! Skylines highlights Crestline's full heritage.

"I am absolutely hyped to be back working with Crestline. I love the brand, the bikes, and everything they stand for. I kept in contact with Troydon after riding for them in 2023, so when it was an option for 2026, it was an easy decision. I am beyond stoked to represent a local Bellingham brand for this season and beyond!

The Crestline DH frame was made using a prototype mold in one size, which doesn’t fit me. So we used the latest RS181.2 e-bike frame, available in all sizes, and modified it. I’m on an RH4, the largest size. We removed the motor, battery, and all electric components. Crestline machined a threaded BB shell that bolts in to replace the motor, and Jimmy over at Cascade Components updated the kinematics to achieve 202mm of travel by changing dimensions on the upper and lower links. With help from Eric at Jank Components to finish things off, we 3D printed small covers for the screen and charge port openings. Other than that, it’s a completely stock frame, exactly what customers get with the e-bike. There are no structural changes.

I'm super hyped to have the opportunity to race both the World Cup and the Pro DH US races this year. I’ll also be trying to get out to as many local races as possible. Alongside racing, I’m also stoked to keep working alongside Lazy Sundays on some creative media projects." - Alden Pate

"Alden’s riding speaks for itself, but what really stands out to me is how much he’s matured as a rider, racer, and all-around human over the past few years. His commitment to achieving his goals is second to none.

I spend a fair bit of time riding with Alden and the crew in Bellingham, and they’d all say the same thing. He puts the work in, asks the right questions, and actually applies the feedback (most of the time, haha). That kind of mindset is hard to teach, and it’s exactly what you want in a rider you’re backing.

He’s fully invested in his progression and race craft, and I’m hyped to see him back on one of our bikes this year. On top of that, he’s genuinely approachable and hugely supportive of the community and younger riders, always frothing and happy to help out around the shop whenever something needs doing.

Add in the gobs of style he brings to the tools, and we’re all in for a treat in 2026." - Troydon, Crestline Founder
