The heart and soul of racing is the beginners and up and coming riders. Last year when I raced Cat 2 it was a bit disheartening to only get to see Cat 1 riders and Pro replays or clips. So, this year I decided to get some Raws of the Cat 2/3 guy practice and race runs after I finished up for the day. I will miss Snowshoe, bit will be back for the last race of the season

It's your time to shine Cat 2 riders!! Raw practice clips from Friday. No longer will it just be the pros and Cat 1 Riders getting coverage. Last year when riding Cat2/3 it was always a bummer to see all the other guys on track and never get a chance to see myself or my friends. I was another awesome day out on the mountain way down in Tennessee! The sun was out and the trails were dry and dusty as could be. The Elk City Cycles Crew was out in force before I got there and had already started learning the lines on Friday. I wasn't able to make Friday practice because of other family obligations, but still had an awesome time riding on Saturday with the boys. Super stoked to bring you today's video. We have been super blessed because out Buddy Rick just had a professional built downhill trail built locally and this thing is gnarlier than most bike parks. I don't think there is a single drop ‪@SnowshoeMountain‬ that is as big as this rock drop. We helped pack in the trail a bit before we got to riding it and just walking up the trail you could tell it was going to be amazing. The guys ‪@southerngravity‬ did an awesome job laying this thing out and I can't wait to see what they do...

The Elk City Crew had a rad day getting warmed up and beat up for Sunday's race.

Race day was such a crazy mix up of track conditions and weather. When I took my first practice run of the day I was just sure the day was going to end terribly on the track. Luckily I was able to turn it around by race time and actually put in a decent lap time. Thanks to the guys at Elk City Cycles for helping me get in the extra training rides on the E-bike and keeping my bike tuned up. I was able to pull out a second place finish. This was the most legit downhill course i have ever ridden. I loved it and can't wait to do it again.

I had an awesome ride on the Trance E. Once i get the suspension tuned i think it be even more fun to ride!!!

Today we are going to take a look at one of he best places in West Virginia to ride a mountain bike. You may have noticed in one some of my recent videos the state has been dumping a ton of money into this park. I am so stoked to be able to bring this park to you and hope you get to ride it too!!! As always it's sad to see the end of the downhill bike season at Snowshoe Bike Park, but it is always a blast to get out and ride with the boys. This year we were blessed with some awesome weather and beautiful scenery. It was rad to get out and ride @thehuckaby85 and Clayton on the mountain one more time this year. Both of those dudes are shredders and were killing it all day. Clayton did put a little bit of damage on his trail bike, but luckily he has new GT Fury waiting on him at home. Once again...
