Hey, newer to MTB.

bought Michelin wild enduro tires to swap out older maxxis ardent, taped rims, stans valve, and sealent. Tire seated fine with air compressor and held air without sealent. Added sealent, left it over night and tire had 6-7 psi next morning. Lost 20 psi over night for 3 days straight. Finally soaked the tire with soapy water and found the tire is leaking air through the sidewall only. Will this go away after a while or will I have to pull up 20 psi before every ride?

thanks!

Those tires must not be "tubeless ready." There are still some that aren't compatible with sealant.

Someone else can probably chime in about whether the sealant will eventually clog those holes; I don't know.

I ran the Michelin Wild Enduro's a few years ago and I had to use a lot of sealant to get them to hold air. The PSI lost wasn't as bad as you are experiencing, but I think I ended up using 6-7oz of Stans per wheel (typically I use 4-5).
