Hello, I just acquired with hard earned cash, a 1996 Kona humuhumu. Has a tear 2"long in seat that has been there for awhile. Anybody try these walmart leather vinyl repair kits? Any body have a great fix?

it doesn't seem like it would hurt to try the repair kit. but considering the seat is nearing 20 years of age, it may be time for a new one. there are some good deals online for saddles. check out jenson's sale page here, for example.
