Just saw this on twitter:

@whistlermtb: Rumour heard today that there won't be a Monster Energy Slopestyle next year, but #crankworx will have wings instead.

Sounds like Red Bull may be taking over title sponsorship of the slopestyle event...

I hope so. Red Bull should stop making energy drinks and just concentrate on event promotion. Is there anyone who does it better?

I read somewhere the Red Bull is now the sponsor for the Slope Style event. It also said that the course will be designed by Redbull athletes such as Darren Berrecloth. Should be sweet.

Red Bull along with every other energy drink are horrible for your body. I use to drink them daily but I cant destroy my body anymore lol. Dont get me wrong I love em. Kinda funny that energy drinks are sponsoring "athletic" events... haha might as well bring back Camel Joe!

That is a great idea they DO put on some gnarly events!
