A new MTB freecoaster hub that automatically switches between a cassette when moving forward and a freecoaster when moving backwards. The hub is automatic and instant with no need for disengagement or reengagement.
You just ride the bike.

did BMX freecoasters ever become more reliable? i had a KHE geisha grenade on me and gave up on them. that being said, i think they are very cool pieces of engineering, however the riding population they appeal to is pretty limited.

Due to the fact that some parts inside conventional freecoasters are made of plastic, wheels end up wobbly and are somewhat hit or miss even today. This one is essentially a normal cassette hub with extra parts between the bearing and the driver. The entire axle is taken up by metal rather than some plastic like conventional coasters so it doesn't end up wobbly over time.
