I live in Austin, but tempted to fly out for the Anaheim 1 Supercross next weekend since this mtb ride, hosted by Rock N Road Cyclery in Mission Viejo, is being held the next day. Has anyone participated in the event? Curious how big the crowd gets and what the routes are like.

A1 Ride Daze are a blast. Meet the heros of moto/supercross, ride bikes, and maybe see some burly moves by guys like Lopes:



It's a decent-sized group but you can space out pretty well and the dirt is likely to be primo this time of year.
