Okay, so I'm thinking about going to the US during summer 2018 through CCUSA, a program that helps you get a job in the tourist sector for about 3 months. There is an option to find an employer by yourself and I decided to try finding work in a bike park (maintenance, bike service,...). Of course I will check as many bike park websites as possible on google but the question for here is: Does anyone have any similar experience? Not necessarily coming from abroad, just working in a park? Which parks are good to go to, have a good crew, atmosphere, ...? I will appreciate any help :D

Some of the larger parks bring in temp workers every year, and you cannot ask for some of the most beautiful country to see. Check with Big Bear/Snow Summit, Mammoth Mountain, both are in California and hire fairly large staff for the summer.

Boulder and Durango in Colorado also bring in alot of temp workers for the season. As I grew up in Southern California and lived in Colorado for a time while in the Military I am more familiar with these areas.

I now live on the east coast, Highland Mountain Bike Park in New Hampshire is by far one of the best in the country, with a decent amount of temp workers. Contact them early if that interests you.

Thanks, will check them out, I have heard about some of these before. About contacting them early, I have to find en employer by the end of february probably, if I don't It will be time to seek work at one of the other employers in the CCUSA program (which will also be easier to find).

For Mammoth and Big Bear/ Snow Summit, here is the employment portal:

https://www.mammothresorts.com/jobs#jobs

And the about page with contact information:

https://www.mammothresorts.com/jobs/about-working-at-mammoth-resorts

I hope you can get in to one of those mountains, the whole area is fantastic and a great place to start your visit to the US.
