USA Winter MTB Tours / Trips

Hey there,

I am looking at coming to the States for around two weeks in the second half of November, and I have been looking for some sort of MTB tour or riding destination to do in the first week of my trip, but not many companies seem to run them that late into winter (understandably).

I would prefer a good riding destination on the east coast that I could explore for 3-4 days (I'll be in NYC for the second week), but west coast could work too. I'd imagine that anywhere worth riding in the winter would be south, are there any decent parks around Miami or Orlando, or even right across through Texas or SoCal? I am into moderate - difficult (grade 3-5) XC and enduro style trails and do most of my riding around Rotorua, NZ if that helps.

Thanks in advance! Any help would be appreciated

I'm not very familiar with winter riding spots out east, but there are several worthwhile trips to be had in the west. Aim for the coast or the desert and you'll likely have the best weather.

We hold Vital MTB's Test Sessions each year around the time you mention, and have had good success in these areas:

Saint George, Utah - Guide to the area
Sedona, Arizona
San Luis Obispo, California
Phoenix, Arizona

I love to ride my bike downhill adventures, Winter comes always with some favorable chance to make some Fun with my close friends. We last years went to very remote place and stay 2 days for a Fishing campaign, not only fishing but as well as we also spent for hunting.
Now i need a suitable MTB for my younger brother as he is also very found of Biking.
