Resurface Your Rotors - Tips In Sixty
Resurface your Rotors
When your rotors go black you are losing power, heat capacity and they tend to be much more noisy.
Here is a quick way to resurface the rotors to restore power to the system (we have a trail fix for this that we will produce later this month)
Insure that you only use ammonia based window cleaner.
Wet/Dry sandpaper works best - 200 grit or so is my favorite.
Pedal the bike with the brakes engaged after to burn off the excess.
If this service is performed correctly you will notice a cleaner rotor visually, improved power on trail and far less noise (your friends will thank you)
