Bolt On Handlbar Grip Advice
Series: My Meager Skills - My Thoughts, Tips, & Tricks
Episode 06 - “Bolt On Handle Bar Grip Advice”
Location: The Wilbrink's
Changing Bolt-On Handle Bar Grips is one of the easiest jobs in the world. That said, there is some nuance to it and it is possible to damage the grips in a way that will make them more frustrating than trying to remove the rubber grips on your childhood Huffy bike. The most important thing to remember is that if you over-tighten the screws that you run the risk of stripping the head. That makes them impossible to remove in the field. The grips should only be tightened enough to keep them from spinning/turning on the handle bar under you personal grip strength. So I hope you learn something from this and maybe enjoy it.
Thanks for watching. Work Hard. Play Hard. Be a big softy when you get home.
Dominic.
