Technologies:
Hexagon Design (HEX) - The ability of a fork to resist flexing is a key factor for maximum riding precision. In the same way, it is important that the fork is not too stiff. When designing the Selva, Formula had a fundamental aim in mind, finding the perfect balance point between stiffness and flex. Using Hexagon Design, the natural flex of the fork has been dramatically decreased, combining the advantages of the standard boost with the stiffness of a traditional fork.
Remote Cartridge Control (RCC) - An on-the-fly system that finely tunes the overall compression from a remote adjustment that's integrated into the cartridge. Riders can adjust the overall compression on the trail, while riding, right from the cockpit. With RCC, the fine tuning of overall compression is controlled by 13 different positions, from fully open to locked out.
Internal Floating Technology (IFT) - Formula’s hydraulic cartridge is structurally merged with the stanchions and lower legs. In a riding situation, this compensate for the external stresses placed on the fork resulting in reduced friction.
Integrated Locking System (ILS) - Axle design with a lever that is easily removable for re-insertion at virtually any position. The ILS is designed to prevent overtightening of the front axle, making wheel removal quick and simple. For our weight conscious riders, the ILS can be removed without affecting the functionality of the thru-axle.
Compression Tuning System (CTS) - This system consists of five valves that transform the way the fork behaves, covering any kind of riding. The CTS valve is a fundamental structural part of the hydraulic cartridge. Changing the valve means changing the cartridge itself, modifying fork’s behavior. This makes Formula forks highly customizable for any rider all using a simple tool that anyone can use in their own workshop.
