Excellent clipless option

Rating:
The Good:

Classic Time feel, good in the mud

The Bad:

Can be a little harder to get in

Overall Review:

I've ridden Shimano, Wellgo, Crank Brothers Candy, and various options from Time. That includes the Z, MX6, XRoc, and these. They have the classic Time feel and you know exactly what you're getting. The float is good, engagement is great, easy to get out when needed, etc. I can't say I can feel the pins add anything for me even when I'm unclipped in a sketchy section. There's a reason that Time pedals have such good reviews. Do they have flashy World Cup champs designing new pedals and come out w/ big press releases? Not that I'm aware of. I don't ride these because my favorite DH or Enduro rider is sponsored and uses them. They simply work well.

I ride w/ Giro Terraduros and the cleats all the way to the back. Make sure your cleats are not too beat up. That's the only time I have issues w/ Time pedals. The material is somewhat soft and after a season of riding they need to be replaced. Cheap fix.
