Fantastic, classic Times

Rating:
The Good:

Consistent, good in mud, good platform grip on body

The Bad:

None that I have found.

Overall Review:

I've ridden Shimano, Wellgo, Crank Brothers Candy, and various options from Time. That includes the Z, MX6, XRoc, and Speciale 8. These have the classic Time feel and you know exactly what you're getting. The float is good, engagement is great, easy to get out when needed, etc. The grip is pretty good when unclipped thanks to the ridges in the body. The MX6 are most similar to the XRoc in terms of feel. I can't really tell a difference between the two.

Now that I've had the Speciale 8 for a couple monthsnthese are my back up pedals. No reason in performance other than wanting to give the Speciale pedals a try.

I ride w/ Giro Terraduros and the cleats all the way to the back. Make sure your cleats are not too beat up. That's the only time I have issues w/ Time pedals. The material is somewhat soft and after a season of riding they need to be replaced. Cheap fix.
