Overall Review:

I decided to step out of my boundaries and onto dirt/gravel. After getting hit on the road bike, off road seemed like the better option..and more fun too! I purchased this bike & a Liv embolden 1 for my lady last may. Best adult purchase to date, with some minor tweaks. The fork is very responsive already, I look forward to messing with the air tokens I received in amanufacturer rebuild kit. The rear shock however does not have a lock out & never seems to be as compliant as I want no matter the pressure or setting. I recently upgraded to a monarch RT3 & it made the bike feel way better. Also, the frame geometry is good, but the extended neck (70mm) to achieve size was not getting it for me. In slow tech sections I felt unstable due to the bars being so far in front of the stem, I bought a raceface (45mm) stem and that fixed my stability. The shifters are low grade and still have dial indicators on the shifters making it hard to adjust the cockpit to my liking. I am upgrading to a eagle nx 1x12 drivetrain soon that will fix the cramped cockpit problem. Other than those three tweaks the bike feels great, never let me down. It gives me way more confidence in chunky terrain and down hills.
