300 riders took on the Ashland Mountain Challenge July 11th. The weekend just prior the temps were over 100deg - practice on Friday saw downpours of rain that left everyone soaked and muddy -- but come race day everything was perfect... cool temps, clear skies, and hero dirt.
Mark Weir (WTB Cannondale) blasting through the stage 3 rock garden. Weir would continue his blistering pace to a 2nd place finish.
