Titus Adventure Company Unveils Rental Programs for Mountain Bikers

TAC adventure vehicle rentals are trailblazing the Novel Economy, shaping the future of vehicle ownership while giving cyclists nationwide premier access to the overlanding lifestyle.

Denver, Colo.  – Titus Adventure Company founder Travis Titus is a Colorado native and passionate mountain biker who, like many of us, became disenchanted with all of the weekend traffic on I-70, and all the parking struggles around town. Born of utility for him and his family -- and thousands just like him around the Front Range and nationwide -- Titus Adventure Company (TAC) launched last summer with a full fleet of Toyota adventure rigs: affectionately known as Hank, Patsy, and Willie. The vehicles are completely overland-ready and can be picked up in Denver or delivered to a home, office, or the airport.

With bike season upon us and bike sales at a record high nationwide, TAC rentals is unveiling a special MTB package for riders heading into the high country.

As one of the only overland vehicle rental companies in Colorado, TAC is quickly becoming known as the Uber of Overlanding. Completely carbon neutral, mountain bikers in Colorado can now rent a fully outfitted overlanding rig with bike racks right from their phone.

In addition to vehicles with guaranteed 4WD, unlimited mileage, and high-end all-terrain tires,  the new Mountain Bike Rental Package includes:

  1. Kuat Bike Racks (2 or 4 bikes)
  2. Topeak Bike Pump
  3. Black Diamond Headlamp
  4. Battery Jumper Kit
  5. Yeti Roadie Cooler and Koozies
  6. Sunscreen
  7. Rumpl Blanket
  8. Leatherman and Bike Tools
  9. Park Tools Work Apron
  10. Portable Shower
  11. First Aid Kit
  12. NoBounds Bluetooth speaker
  13. Water jugs

TAC’s Summer Car Camping package, including rooftop tent, cookware, tables, chairs, and trip information including beta on where and how to camp, are included with all MTB package rentals, with a “Deluxe Camping” package available for an additional charge.

For those looking to ship their bike to Colorado, TAC will email customers a shipping label to drop bikes off at a local shop, and receive the bike at TAC preferred shops for builds so that bikes are ready to roll when you arrive; and TAC can also coordinate bike rentals.

This Denver-based brand is positioned perfectly at the intersection of several trends, tapping into the momentum of the Sharing Economy and the Overlanding movement, while at the same time helping a growing number of Colorado transplants experience the West’s wild places without adding to the congestion of the Front Range. We know close-to-home adventures and human powered-adventures will only become more important in the coming months.

We now know that approximately 30 percent of all greenhouse gases in the U.S. come from transportation, and vehicles are responsible for 15 percent of all carbon emissions globally. TAC’s approach to convenient, shared vehicle ownership will help reduce Front Range congestion, pollution, and make it more affordable and accessible for all people to get out and live the overlanding lifestyle, if only for a few weekends a year.
