With summer right around the corner, the anxiety for “Park Season” is wearing on riders throughout the country. Late spring however, brings with it a glimpse of hope and the Trail Party summer series. Kicking off the season is Windrock TN on May 21st. The park is a great match for the format.
Shuttles will be running up the mountain to 4-5 stages with minimal additional climbing to get to some of the longer descents.
Riders will be able to run the stages as many times as they want and we will collect the best times from each stage to be compiled for event overall positions.
The stages can be raced in any order and you can ride with anyone you’d like. It’s perfect for teams, families, and friends that like to race together.
Last year’s event was an eye opening experience for many riders as it features some of the steepest tracks on the circuit. Reach Around, Rollin Coal, and Windmill all kept seasoned riders honest while trails like Dropout and Piglet were a great challenge for young and beginners alike. Sean Leader, one of the driving forces behind the parks success, has been helping out with track choice and routes for this year along with trail builder Damon Sedivy. We can't wait to get up there and see what they have lined out for us.
After Windrock the team will head to Tamarack, Pajarito, Purgatory, and then Angel Fire so there are plenty of great parks to hit up and get a taste of this laid back racing format. You can find more information at www.trailparty.com Register now at the link below and we'll see you on the trails.
