The Miranda Factory Team was recently presented in the HQ’s city and is already in Monaco to compete in the opening round of the World E-Bike Series 2020. After the huge success last season, e-bike athletes are once again challenged for the now designated E-Gravity concept.
With five races scheduled for this year, the competition will focus on the most challenging climbs, without forgetting the “downhill” sections in a traditional enduro format with the twist of using e-bikes.
The opening race in Monaco will have, as in 2019, a challenging route around the city of Pielle, on the outskirts of Monaco. The area has very technical and cobbled tracks, with a total of four special tests, which will certainly make life difficult for athletes and bikes.
Riding with the Miranda Factory team colors, the following athletes will be competing: Maaris Meier, Emanuel Pombo, Tiago Ladeira and José Borges.
The athletes from the Águeda squad will use the latest version of the KTM Macina Prowler. A high-end model, combined with the 4th generation Bosch Performance Line CX engine, Extreme Racing Shox damping system and the best Miranda Bike Parts components - carbon XMOD cranks and Chainflow 3D chainring.
The program for this first round of the World E-Bike Series 2020 starts today, with the usual recon sessions and presentation of the teams. Saturday will be dedicated to the competition and the respective award ceremony.
