Hi guys,
Kind of a weird question, in your opinion would it be better to have one all mountain bike or 2 bikes (XC & DH). Currently have a DH bike and was thinking of getting a frame such as an Uzzi/SB66/Nomad...etc and swapping most of my part over but also just thinking of keeping the DH bike and just getting a XC/trail bike.
Hoping to get your thoughts, is it better to have the 2 specific bikes or the one do it all bike.
I assume if I can swap over most of my parts minus my fork and wheels (unless I can get a 12x150mm all mountain frame such as the uzzi) I would build up a bike around 35-37 lbs. I'm just wondering if this is worth having a heavy all mountain bike or just get a second light XC/trail bike and keep the DH one as well.
Thanks

Even if you do a bit of a heavier build on the XC bike, so it is more of a general purpose trail bike, you'll have a lot more fun. Then you can save the downhill bike for the rowdy trails that require it.
I guess it also depends on how often you ride downhill.
