What Shoe Lets You Run Your Cleat The Furthest Back?

Hey Team,

I am looking for the clipless shoe that allows you to move your cleat the furthest back towards your heel.

My problem is that I grew up racing DH on flats, and I went to clips when we all found out how much fun enduro bikes are. So, I like riding clips, but I want to be able to position my foot more like I used to when I was on flats, which is pretty far forward. When I ride flats I have the arch of my foot over the center of my pedal, but when I ride clips, even with the cleat as far back as possible I'm still more or less on the ball of my foot.

I'm currently running 5:10 Hellcats with Shimano DX pedals.

Anybody ever modified a pair of Hellcats to be able to move the cleat further back? I'm very willing to try this, but don't want to ruin the shoe if it won't work because I wear them everyday.

Thanks for any and all help.
