Swapping shocks on Specialized demo

Hi,

Hoping to get some advise on a shock swap for my Specialized demo. I am currently running a Cane Creek DB but wanted to swap it for my Fox RC4, just to see the differences in the shock.

Do you guys know if its possible to get the below pictured sleeve out of the RC4 so that the mounting hardware can be fitted into it. If so is there a recommendation on how to get it out without using a chisel and hammer Wink

It needs to be pressed out, preferably with an actual press or a vice. Failing that careful use of a hammer can work. You'll need a cylindrical pressing tool just smaller than the opening in the shock, but bigger than the bushing as well as another cylinder or other blocking to go behind the shock and long enough for the bushing to be pressed all of the way out. Your local bike shop probably has an actual dedicated set of tools to do this. Do not use a chisel. I suppose another option would be to use the gold insert itself as the cool tool to push out the bush.
