So I have marzocchi dirt jump 2 forks and on the bottom of the right leg (the leg you pump the air into) there is a bolt. I took that bolt out and noticed there was oil inside. It was only about half full. Do I need to top it up? Should I tip all of it out and replace all of it and what should I use. Cheers
FWIW, the I'm pretty sure Marzocchi used 7.5 weight oil for the Dirt Jumper throughout its existence, so something like Golden Spectro 7.5 (or equivalent) will be fine.
To find out your oil volume, use this tool from Marzocchi.
New seal will run you $25-$35 (in the US, not sure in AUS) and labor for a fork should only be between $60 and $90. Not a huge price to pay for peace of mind, IMO.
the rebound adjustments doesn't do anything so i think it needs a service, and also when i ride there is a clunk when i pull up and land could this be the spring hitting the fork stanchions or lower leg?
cheers tyler
