Kickstarter project

Hello, being in this sport for 6 years I started thinking about moving from XC to DH and Freeride. However, most frames (used) I see in my country are either cracked and then repaired or overpriced. As i have some amount saved I could buy cheaper parts as brakes, stem, bars, grips, brakes, saddle, seatpost, cables, drivetrain... But I wont have enough to buy wheelset, fork, shock, frame, so I taught to start Kickstarter or Indiegogo project and in video (lenght of 40-90 minutes) and include their names in credits. what do you think about it and would you consider investing 1$-5$ into it?
