I'm seriously considering getting into Cross Country racing, I raced motocross at a professional level for about 6 years but have taken a couple years off and I'm looking to mountain bikes to replace the competitive aspect.
What would you recommend as a good bike to start with, I'm thinking in the $1000 to 2000 range.
I think I want full suspension, but I'm not 100% sure.
