Additional Info
I have owned this bike for nearly 1 year, and put over 1000 miles on it so far. I have own a lot of nice bikes, but this one is my favorite one I have ever owned! It's geo is perfect for me, not to extreme -- for an xc race bike--(looking at you RM element!), but also not twitchy. The extra travel soaks up bigger stuff, but still has a very nice seated attack position for racing! I love racing, (race cat 1 30-39) and DH is my forte (I am decent climber, but based on my results I make the most time on my competition on the downs), and this bike is amazing. Don't judge it by mellow geo (68hta 450reach L), b/c on the downs it comes alive and you become one with it! It's extremely balanced, precise, and carries speed though flats, rough, and flow all equally well.
For 2022 I updated it with Galfer LC Rotors, Galfer Pads, 2022 Fox 34, Continental Tires.
tires are tad heavier than Schwalbes I had, but roll just as fast, and are way more durable, and have better traction.
Weight of bike - 20.6lbs, weight of full race kit (pedals, power meter, 2 cages, tool, spare link, chain breaker) - 21.6lbs! Is this the lightest most capable bike around? I think so...
