I'm a big heavy guy and build this one to be part of my dream quiver next to my Bronson. It's not a light bike by any means and haven't put it on the scale yet. Build it to last. The mods I did from the SC XX1 AXS kit, were mainly to accommodate my style of riding. Wider 30mm rims to put 2.5wt tires in the future, big XTR 203mm rotors to handle to heat of stopping my 103kg, and 800mm bars because I'm 196cm tall.
The bike is soooo fun that you don't notice it's a XC bike until you run out of talent and realize you don't have the 170mm Lyrik in front...lol. And it's just so damn easy to pedal up the techy stuff....the thing just finds grip, where there should be none.
