Tůr jede: Czech Freeride Session

Year has flown like a water. And here we stand again to ride some cool stuff.

Bull rides that's the translated name of the session.
Let's have a look how it went... The main goal was to gather the freeriders who build and ride.

Same locations, just the features grew up a bit. Digging has begun month ahead of the main event. Many riders came to help us make the most out of the spots. Big ups to the diggers !!!

Event happened on 28th of September a month prior last year edition. Saturday's forecast looked good for us. It's 9:00 AM morning and we're ready for shred. About 40 riders from across the country (plus one Slovak and one Canadian) came to enjoy the best what local forest could offer.

First spot: The freeride zone

On the top of the freeride zone, new blind kicker has appeared.

The road gap at the bottom got bigger and one more trick jump for warm up has been built.

Conditions are prime after rainy friday. We started in the freeride zone, individuals, the train show is on. After few laps two boys got kicked out from the catch berm and flew into the sorounding oaks. Broken wrist, broken vertebraes. Luckily, we got paramedic on site. After quick break we continued. The rest of the riders are on fire. Pospi sends flip from the blind kicker. Gargamel tried as well, but got sideways and hit the oak with his shoulder and hit his quad really bad.

We saw few suicides, tobogans, tabletops. Time to move down to trick jump. Again suicides, whips, condors, nacnacs, cancans, etc.

Kuba Kočka after first unsuccessful attempt goes for huge flip, gets compressed on the transition, goes OTB and misses the tree jus few centimeters.

Time is running and we move to the road gap (dimensions 6 x 15 meters to sweet spot)... Martin Krejčí opens up as the first rider, second try Suicide no hand. Suicides come from Vojta Moudrý and Maty Mlejnek as well. A few tobogans and the coming rain closes this spot. Quick lunch break and we move on to second spot.

Second spot: The gully

We added few new jumps to make the gully more fun to ride. The rain made the conditions here exceptional, not for pushing though. The boys are having fun.
The jumps work pretty good. We linked everything together and it¨s blast! Almost more airtime than ground time. Pure fun. After five rides, we're happy to move to the last spot.

We're bit nervous about the condition of slab after the storm. A few boys went ahead to check it out. But luckily, there wasn't any rain in this valley. Slab is dry, soil humid, let¨s go! Few pops into slab, stoppies, A-line options from last year.David Cila opens up new line from the very top, all boys shred. And it's right time for adding some spice. We built instant drop from the upper slab with landing to the lower slab (approximately 3x4 meters) .

Matej Třešňovský goes first, huge pop right into the middle of the landing. Everyone is screaming! What the hell! Almost everyone hit this feature, few went again.

It's 6 PM and I'm happy to stop the madness and say it's over. What a day!
