Here the bike is beginning to come together with the help of some orange cables and housing. By connecting the spoke holes in an X pattern to mark the center I was then able the drill the pilot holes Using a metal hole saw and taking plenty of time it was starting to come along nicely. This process makes a mess. Clean up your mess. Here are the rims all full of holes and ready for the sandblaster. I was surprised by the look of the sandblasted rims. Next you gotta fix up an impromptu paint booth out of some bike boxes and get to work. I went for a 2 tone orange fade on these bad boys. Here a the first couple tiger stripes cut out of the tape. After peeling the tape from the first rim i was pleased with the results and knew how to get a better outcome out of the second rim. Here is the bangle out in the wild. It all came together quite nicely with orange cables, race face bar, Trek logos. This picture is at the top of the Notch Overlook at Heron Park in Kalispell, MT.
