Sergeant Surge - 2015 DH-spec NS Surge EVO 1
Parts
General Info
This is my hardcore hardtail bike I ride for freeride and downhill. Built it to my spec to correct problems I had with my old one I had to abandon after 4 years of bashing.
Dropouts are custom machined one-offs I drawn to convert frame to 12mm thru-axle.
Head angle is 63° more or less, with 178mm triple tree fork (same height of a 160mm single crown).
Very capable bike, pretty difficult to ride at first but incredibly fast, balanced and stable once ridden for some time.
After an year with it I have some problems to solve (rear Deemax hoop is too weak, bent two already, gotta find some thin but wide grips as 35mm ones are too big after I built up some hand resistance, and superstar grooved discs tend to warp so had to change front, rear will follow...and bent saddle rails in Pila) but I doubt I will outgrow this too fast.
Weights about 13.5-14kgs, dunno exactly as I never weight bikes.

Thanks for watching!
