Any coaches or riding groups keen to try out a new timing app?

Hi all, I'm a volunteer coach with a kids MTB club in NZ.

I've built Raceline to time riders on enduro or downhill trails (different start & end points) without needing specialist equipment or an internet connection - just two people with the app.

I'm looking for more people to try this out and provide feedback, especially Android users.

iOS: Raceline app in the App Store

Android test version: join this Google group to get access, then install from Google Play

How it works:

  • You need two people with the app. One goes to the start, the other to the finish.
  • The start person taps when each rider drops in. The finish person taps when each rider crosses the line.
  • Then the start and finish people get back together and sync times between the apps to see results.

Also, I know there's a couple of other timing app threads on here. I think each app is sufficiently unique that they meet different needs, but interested in all thoughts on this!

Cheers folks.

If anyone's interested, the Android version is now publicly available :-)
