Does anyone have a pool? We are thinking about buying/building one. But I don't know what to start with? Any recommendations are appreciated.

I have a pool my whole life and use it only few times a year. 

My recommendation - find a company which installs the pools

I recommend choosing the type of a pool you want to install. Then see what brands offer it. Checking reviews might help to choose a decent service. My advice is to look through the Anthony Sylvan reviews on this website. I had a great experience with this company.

We have a kayak. It came with the house. I really like it. It's a smaller one, very easy to take care of.

My kids used it quite a bit until they got to be about 13-14. 

The key is to pair it with a good deck.
