I think i broke mine but thats my fault. I had it on my race bike and it kicked ass
I know you're not part of the drivetrain segment of SRAM, but what is holding back the majority of bike/component manufacturers from thinking inside the box (gearboxes that is)? Do you think it's just a matter of dollars/ numbers of derailleurs to be sold (like tubes)? These two parts are the obvious weak points of mountain bikes today and the advancements have not come very far in the last 15 years.
Also, what are you thoughts on gas charged shocks like Allen Millyard's adaptation of the oleo shock for MTBs?

How easy would it be to drop a Pike charger damper unit into a Boxxer World Cup? I assume that all of the threads would interact. Do they? Dut wouldn't I also have to shorten the air spring shaft to match? Would that be as easy as a trip to the machinist? or are there butting issues that would prevent it? I guess one could just remake the whole part shorter.
Keep up the good work, as long as you're sanity allows. And rest up if you're done...
