4k bikes

Ok I'm new here. (As I read a lot of people put) looking to put about 4k in a dh/free ride bike. Right now I'm looking at the trek session 8 and also the specialized demo 8 1. I was more looking at the suspension. I'm more then likely will be doing parks and gravity east.
Is it worth it going after these bikes compared to the giant glory2 or specialized status 2?

Just having a hard time deciding. Need some opinions

check out the Scott Voltage Freeride 10, 20, and 30
or maybe the Transition TR 250 or 450

I like my Status. Handles well, etc, etc. Good started bike, and you'll have money left over for upgrading parts if you want.

i prefer the demo over the status. i think its just a higher level bike. i have also ridden the status and i enjoyed it but not as much as the demo
here is a cool new brand that i like. they make some pretty cool bikes for good prices. its called guerrilla gravity. they come in a bunch of cool colors too!
