Be clear, be professional, and tell them you'll spend money to ride there.

And yeah, maybe people can leave the logo wrapped trucks and vans somewhere the rangers on Rte 9 don't have to drive by them you lazy bastids.
the first point you make is fantastic however the second is not wihtout its issues. SCB was the first I can recall to have posted up a vid (long-shock V10 test w/syndicate team) of a fully-wrapped company van on a local, illegal trail. The trail featured is no longer in existance due to blatant disrespect and over-shuttling from predominantly out-of-town riders, many of whom undoubtedly had their interest piqued after viewing said video. just sayin'.

Yea. Jugs was a great trail. I helped build the middle part with the drop to right berm and out to the road crossing. I actually got to do a photo shoot on it with the Syndicate riders once and guess what? They were driving around and shuttling in a fully wrapped van. It was an honor to get to ride with Peaty, but the high profile made me nervous. We have a new amazing DH trail in the area that, aside from a couple of small climbs, is World Cup worthy. I was shown it in confidentiality and told that I could show it to my core friends. I showed one too many friends and word spread like wild fire. It's still on the local level, but it seems that most of the locals know. I hope that the word doesn't spread over the hill. I thought of offering to show the Syndicate for Pre-Otter training, but not in the bling van and team kit.
