A SRAM 900 front hub comes with a semi floating axle arrangement if you had a extra set of axle caps and reamed them out to 20mm would the spacing be right for double crown DH fork trying to add life to some extra wheels.

Send in your reamer for a refresh/recalibrate if it's been a while. Likely it has been, COVID and whatnot. Ask your hub manufacturer for depth settings on stoprings, and if it's a spiral- or a straight-style reamer.
I bet Spiral, since after machining these on a planed surface, with laser precision and countless batch tests w/ reject rates we'll never know (now...) ...last thing one wants is some tearout.
