Spring in the Desert- Colorado to Utah

It's been a long winter and seems like it will be a drawn out spring for some of us in North America. I was itching to get out on my bike so, I left rainy, snowy Bend, Oregon and headed for Western Colorado. Grand Junction is where I met up with an old friend and talented rider, Quintin Kurtz. Quintin, an engineering student at Colorado Mesa University, is quite busy with classes and his riding/racing schedule so, trying to piece together a video was going to be hard. Two days of filming isn't a lot, but with the amount of access to great trails on the Western Slope of Colorado, Quintin and myself made it happen. Our first day of filming was spent in the Grand Junction and Fruita area, riding and filming trails such as Joe's Ridge. Our second day of filming brought us to Moab, which is under two hours from Grand Junction making it an easy day trip. Any excuse to go to Moab is a good one! It was good to be back out on the bike, in warm weather, having a good time with friends. Cheers to a great 2019 season!
