Just a quick thought... To save some of the teardown and rebuild labor on the open ski slopes, couldn't you build obstacles that are fun to ride in the summer, then become a sweet terrain park once they're covered in snow in the winter? Perhaps just on one of the slopes?

Unless they're dirt mounds, it could help save some time. Any wood structures get crushed with snowpack weight, and you can never under estimate Mother Nature. The features that are permanent at Northstar take a beating over the winter and always need work before opening up if they are still salvageable..

I'm thinking year round tabletops and sizable berms that would suit both disciplines. A bit of shaping up in the Spring must be easier than killing and rebuilding. It could be your favorite trail in the snow and the dust.
