Aaron Gwin's Winning GoPro Run from Fontana 12

Did Aaron Gwin have rocket boosters attached for that start sprint and the Wall sprint?! Since most of us will never go as fast as Aaron Gwin, it's nice to be able to hop on his head and experience things like the Fontana DH course with him. Enjoy and check out his comical description about the Wall below.

Racing my Specialized Demo 8 at the 2014 Fontana Winter Series Round #2. Shot on my GoPro Hero3+. The Fontana Wall is always a suffer, please excuse the girl noises I make at the end! Haha

Is that a downhill race in the USA? That kind of track was acceptable in the mid-90's,not today.
Seriously, what do you want your mountains for?

I might point out that a lot of the WC euros are out here this time of year riding that course.....
Anneke Beerten was also out there last weekend also. Even in California the high mountains are not usable in winter.

The terrain available thru most of the US this time of the year is limited to the lowlands...or the desert. Check back with us in the spring and you'll see more "legit" DH racing. Merica!!!

Why do you write the same exact thing on all the GoPro DH run vids? You're not that creative at trying to cause a stir among people... to be honest, you suck at it just a little less than riding.

Impressive sprinting from Gwin, but seriously: 50secs of that 2min15 course are flat fire road. Nothing you ever want to see on a downhill run, really. At least he was on his Demo 8 to do a proper workout and not on some 29er feather.

It is what it is........At least its racing in the winter. After sprinting that wall section a couple times, sprinting straights on most courses seems like just a warm up......
