VIDEO: Whip Off World Champs 2013 Teaser from Crankworx Whistler 11

2013 Whip Off World Champs went ballistic. There were so many riders in attendance ready to throw sideways, they had a 10-minute jam session to separate the dead sailors from the side fliers. Check out what happens when the best gravity riders in the World have only a run or two to get into the Whip Off Finals.

Lear, there were 5 guys trying to cut the 150 riders to about 25. Not easy. Especially when good riders ended up doing one bad whip at cut time. Some riders should of been cut and weren't due to the qty and confusion and some riders slipping up even after cut. We have a plan for next year to improve the situation

Maybe do it invite only, and hold a 30 minute open jam the morning of to add 10 or 20 wildcard spots. Only riders with invite/wildcard wrist bands allowed into the afternoon finals.

@sven oh no i totally understand, i think there might have also been some miscommunication between the people cutting bands and judges.what about an hour jam sesh and since there's so much media coverage we have like an online poll or something.

kinda bummed on whoever was cutting people. some dude on a demo with a black NSMB jacket had some of the sickest whips all day and was cut first round.
